This inaugural Biochar Summit, held on June 28, 2023, is the premier Midwest meeting to build community and momentum around the state's current biochar knowledge, application, and production. Participants of all knowledge levels were immersed in the world of biochar. Participants left the summit with explicit knowledge of the process of creating biochar and its broad spectrum of uses.

Comprehensive discussions will help you understand biochar and its potential for carbon sequestration, soil health, stormwater management, etc.  These sessions were for all levels of experience. Thank those who were able to join us to gain knowledge and build momentum with like-minded professionals and community organizers working to bring full-cycle sustainability to the Midwest.

If you missed the 2023 Biochar Summit or just want to review the presentations
