Compost at Home

This page will serve as a reference point for resources and educational information about advocacy, backyard composting, organics collection and drop-off programs, preventing food waste, information on compost site, what is compostable, and more. By following the buttons below, you can learn how to become a composter or how to enhance your composting efforts. The information posted on these web pages do not necessarily reflect the views of the MNCC or its Board member.

The Compost Story involves a host of film stars urging citizens to compost. Much of the funding for the project came from members of the USCC after one of the founders, Finian Makepeace, introduced the project at COMPOST2017.
