Committees of the MNCC are listed below. If you are interested in taking part in one of the committees, please contact us. You do not need to be a MNCC member to participate in a committee. 


Legislative and Environmental Affairs
The Legislative and Environmental Affairs Committee stays up to date on legislation concerning compost state- and nation-wide, and collaborates with the Market Development Committee. See up-to-date information on the Legislative Committee on our Advocacy web page.

Compost Site Operations Committee
The Compost Site Operations Committee addresses issues at composting facilities and market development activities to increase the use and value of compost.

Communications
The Communications Committee keeps the website updated, runs the Facebook page, and creates the email newsletter.

Membership
The Membership sub-committee works to increase MNCC membership and participation.

The Grants sub-committee reviews grant opportunities, discusses grants with other committees as appropriate, and assists with grant writing and connecting with grant partners.
